The reality is, that for most people, diets don't work - not in the long term. My programme is different. It is not a diet, it's about changing the way you think about food and nutrition. Living Lighter is based on science and helping you to develop a new understanding of yourself and your innate ability to self-heal.

Details of the Living Lighter program:

The programme consists of sessions delivered over an online platform like Zoom, combined with learning and activities to follow between sessions. You will also be able to contact me for additional support and guidance between meetings.


Before you start...

 

After signing up for the program I will send you a detailed questionnaire to complete. This information will help me to tailor the program for your individual needs and to develop a food plan and shopping list that will support you on your journey to better health.

  • Week 1

    Firstly, we will discuss your answers to the questionnaire. This will further help me to build a picture of your health and wellbeing and how I can help you.

     

    Also in this session:

    • I will explain the effects of nutrition and sugar on your health.
    •  We will talk about your amazing ability to self-heal and how to switch that innate ability on.
    •  We will talk through the shopping list.
    •  I will give you recipes tailored around the foods you like to eat.
    • We will talk about what exercise you would like to do to complement your program. (Don’t worry, there is nothing you “must” do - it’s all about what you want and what suits your life best.)

    Time: Approx. 2 hours


  • Week 2

    We will discuss how your first week has gone and I will answer any questions you may have.


    Also in this session:


    • I will introduce you to the amazing effects of fasting (don’t worry, we will go at the right pace for you).
    • I will explain intermittent fasting and how to introduce this into your life. 

    Time: Approx. 2 hours


  • Week 3

    We will discuss your previous week and how you got on with intermittent fasting. 


    Also in this session:


    • We will discuss any questions you have around fasting and the programme so far.
    • There will be further education and learning about nutrition.

     

    Time: Approx. 1 hour


  • Week 4 

    As well as checking in and answering questions, in this session...


    • We will talk more about different recipes for you.
    • We will discuss if you would like to try a longer 24-hour fast or two.

    Normally at this point, the conversation will lead us into your relationship to food and eating as you may have noticed some resistance or something you found difficult to put into place. This is all ok and it's why I am here to help and support you along your way. Remember we want you to have long-lasting results.

     

    Time: Approx. 1 hour

  • Week 5

    You will now have a pretty good understanding of what food and eating habits will support your health. Most of my clients love their new lifestyle and feel much more energised and motivated. However, if you do still have questions we will discuss them.


    Our conversation will lead us deeper into the understanding of how you psychologically work, which will give you a better understanding of how your moment-to-moment experience of food and life is created.


    When you begin to insightfully see how you work,  your relationship to food and eating becomes less judgmental and more loving and kind. You discover you are in control of your behaviour.


    Time: Approx. 1 hour


  • Monthly meetings

    After the intensive five-week period, we will meet for a sixth session if you still have lots of questions. Otherwise, we will meet once a month for the next five months.


    Our monthly sessions will help you:


    • Stay in touch.
    • Not fall back into old habits.
    • Have a regular check-point which helps you to feel more accountable.
    • To see more clearly your relationship to food and eating.
    • Introduce new recipes.
    • And most of all, to answer all your questions, discuss progress and any challenges.

    Please note, you are able to stay in touch between sessions via email.

I developed this programme to educate my clients about the effect nutrition has on their ability to self-heal. Most of us have limiting beliefs around food, nutrition and ourselves that we have been carrying with us for years. During the programme, you will discover how these innocently created beliefs are holding you back and stopping you from reaching your weight-loss goals and living the life you wish to live.


By taking a holistic look at your understanding of nutrition, the environment around you and how you psychologically work, you will gain a greater understanding about you and your life. Together, we will set you on the pathway to living a happier, healthier life, where you are no longer struggling with weight loss. Through the programme, you will learn to be less judgemental and more loving and kind not only with others but also with yourself.
